Marietta Leader, Semi-Weekly, Wednesday, 28 December 1892, pg. 3, col. 2
Mr. Patrick McAvoy, of the West Side, who had been sick for several months past,
died at his home on Saturday morning, the 24th instant, leaving a wife and two
children.  The funeral was held Sunday afternoon the 25th at St. Mary's Catholic
Church.
