FANNIE DAVIS Mrs. Fannie Davis, 69 an inmate of the Washington County Woman's Home, died Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock following an illness of two years. Her death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. Davis was born in Warren township June 5th, 1853 and had spent her entire life in this county. Her husband John Davis died about 20 years ago. Her maiden name was Miss Fannie Reading. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist church. One daughter Mrs. Mary Miller, of the Watertown road and one brother John Reading of Oklahoma City, Okla. survive. MARGETS. Additional Comments: Her real name was Francis Reading. She was the daughter of John Reading b. Wales and Catherine Tunnicliff Reading. Francis had only 1 brother names James N. Reading. Cause of death was Cancer of the Abdomen according to her death certificate. Her husband was James Davis. John Davis is the father of James Davis and not the husband of Fannie Davis. The obituary has inaccuracies.
