Although we are aware of the fact that death in its unrelenting course, will sooner or later call on us all, we are startled at the sacrifice it sometimes demands. This son was the center of a father's affection, the pride of a mother's heart, and a kind and loving brother. The angel of death has entered here, and did not leave alone; He took with him Warner, to his final resting home. NO more is heard the echo of his footsteps in the hall No more the merry laugh and shout of welcoming to all. But now he walks the streets of gold arrayed in spotless white Wearing upon his brow the crown of glory bright. Mrs. Mary E. Devine. El Reno, Okla, May 20, 1899 Additional Comments: The name of this family has changed back and forth between Reid and Reed. He is buried in El Reno Cemetery, El Reno, OK. His parents were: Thomas Jefferson Reed and Martha E. Smith.
