Rev. Mr. Alkire of Barlow,gave an excellent sermon, using for his theme the resurrection. There was a large gathering of friends and neighbors. Carlos Reed will be much missed in the home, in the school, by teacher and classmates and in the neighborhood. The grief stricken parents and brother and sisters have the sympathy of their many friends in their great bereavement. Call not back the dear departed. Anchored safe where storms are o'er, On the border line we have left him, Soon to meet and part no more. Far beyond this world of changes. Far beyond this world of care. We _______ meet our missed and loved one. In our father's mansion fair. There was an angel band in heaven That was not quiet complete So God took our darling Carlos To fill the vacant seat. Additional Comments: Per a family member, Carlos died of diabetes. Father: John L. Reed (June 1859 OH - August 24, 1924 OH). Mother: Clara A. Mellor (August 1865 OH - January 29, 1916 OH).
