Funeral services for Joseph A. Sampson, 25,
of 2206 Pike St., who died at his residence Monday (Aug. 1, 1977) morning, will
be held at 2 p.m.
Thursday at the Spencer Funeral Home in Belpre,   Rev. Clay Sloan will officiate
with burial in the Rockland Cemetery.
He was born in Parkersburg, a son of Ronzel Sampson, of Peebles, O., and Norma
Snodgrass Sampson McCabe of Marietta. He attended Waverly, O. schools.
Also surviving are a brother, Christopher Sampson of Whipple, O.; two sisters,
Karen McCabe, in Florida,   and Julia McCabe, Whipple; a half brother, Jeffrey
McCabe, of Marietta; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva Sampson, of Belpre; and
his maternal
grandmother, Mrs. Evelyn Snodgrass, of Parkersburg.
