Kallner, 79, of Bennett Rd. Minford Rt. 1 are to be conducted by Rev. Julius Chandler at 2 p.m. Thursday at Erwin-Dodson Funeral Home. Mrs Kallner died Monday at her home. The Scioto County native was a member of the Minford United Methodist Church for over 65 years and a member of its Womens Society of Christian Services. Surviving are her husband, Elza Kallner; a son, Lowell Kallner of Minford Rt. 2; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial is to be in Bennett Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. d/o Anna Samson and Thomas Bennett The Portsmouth Daily Times Thursday, May 16, 1985 pg 8 Elza Kallner, 92, of Bennett Road, Minford Route 1, died Wednesday at Best Care Convelescent Center. A Madison Twp. native, he was a retired farmer, a heavy equipment operator, served as deputy sheriff from 1937-1947, and was a member of Minford United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Bennett Kallner in 1973. Surviving are a son, Lowell Kallner of Minford Route 2; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral service is to be 2 p.m. Friday at Erwin-Dodson Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Julius Chandler officiating. Interment is to be in Bennett Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
