V. L. Lehr, 61, Plumbing Co. Owner, Dies

Vinton L. Lehr, 61, 600 Sunrise View Dr., owner of Lehr plumbing and Heating 
Co., died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Wooster Hospital, where he was admitted 
Tuesday.

He was born in Clinton Twp., May 8, 1897, to Moses and Emily Walton Lehr.  He 
had lived in Wooster seven years.

Mr. Lehr was a member of the Wooster Methodist Church, United Commercial 
Travelers, and Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his wife, Zella Kerr Lehr; two sons, Percy W. and Ward K. of 
Wooster; a daughter, Mrs. Wilfred (Betty) Patterson of Jeromesville RD; six 
granddaughters; three brothers, Buy of Big Prairie, George of Mansfield, and 
John of Akron; and four sisters, Mrs. Earl Fulmer of Big Prairie, Mrs. Troy 
Buitler of Lakeville, Mrs. Maude Kopp of Ashland, and Mrs. Martha Esselburn of 
Richmond, Ind.

His parents and a brother died previously.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pim Funeral Home.  Burial will be 
in Newkirk Cemetery.

Calling hours are 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
