Wayne News
Mr John Wasson passed away on August 16th.  

He was a son of the late Reasin Beall and Lucetta (Franks) Wasson and had been 
a lifelong resident of Wayne County.  He was engaged in farming for many years.

Mr. Wasson was married to Florence Elizabeth (George) Wasson in 1897 and she 
proceeded him in death on September 2, 1932.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Grace McClaren and sons Joseph A. Wasson, 
George B. Wasson of the Wooster area and Fred T. Wasson of Spencer, Ohio; and 
brothers Richard and Louis.  

Besides his wife he was proceeded in death by a daughter Miriam Wasson in 1901 
and a son John Albert Wasson in 1924 and by sisters Mary MArtha "Mattie" in 
1946, Katherine "Kate" in 1951, Amanda in 1953 and by brothers Abraham in 1869 
and Thomas in 1948.
