The Weekly Perrysburg Journal.  Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Oct 1, 1862, p. 2.
DIED.

Of consumption, at the residence of her father, near Gilead, September 28th, 
Miss Elizabeth, daughter of Hugh and Sarah Barton, in the 26th year of her age.

	In the grave yard so drear,

	We laid her to rest;

	But we trust that her spirit,

	Now dwells with the blest.



	Bless'd Savior, Oh, teach us

	In meekness to say,

	The Lord he hath given 

	And taken away.



	And though to our hearth-stone

	She cometh no more,

	Yet, Savior, prepare us

	To meet on that shore,



	Where glorified spirits

	Range Eden's fair plains -

	Where death never enters,

	But Christ ever reigns.
