Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Sep 26, 1865, p. 3. Died. In Eagleville, on Tuesday, September 19, of Diptheria, Ida H., only daughter of J.A. and C.F. Bonnell, of this place, aged five years, nine months and eleven days. I've packed away the little clothes, Laid all the playthings by, Folded the last dispatch that told The little one must die. And now alone in sad despair, I list, to hear the steps of those Who'll tell me she is buried where The purest fragrant lily grows. They've come, that little group of three, Back to our home 'mid silent tears, Bearing a single curl to me, The same I've twined in other years. They said 'twas all they had to bring, Of her who rests beneath the pall; I'll place it on the trophy ring, And prize it most of all. S.C.
