Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Oct 12, 1866, p. 3. DIED. At Oberlin, of Typhoid Fever, on Thursday, the 25th of September, in the 28th years of his age, Henry M. Brown. The subject of this notice was well-known to the people of Wood County, having long filled an important position in the Auditor's Office of this county, which position he left in order to hit himself to preach the Gospel. He has been cut down at the very outset of his career, which promised to be one of great usefulness, on account of the combination of excellencies which were found in his character. As a man of business he was prompt, efficient and entirely honest. As a Christian, he was faithful, consistent, and zealous. As a son, brother and friend, he was a model - a Christian gentleman - a loyal citizen, perilling his life in his country's navy - a diligent student. He has not lived in vain. His works do follow him. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/oh/wood/obits/b/brown2471gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/ohfiles/ File size: 1.5 Kb
