Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Feb 21, 1868, p. 3. DIED. On the 5th inst., at the residence of her brother-in-law, J.J. Parks, Esq., Miss Harriet Collier, aged 53 years. The deceased was a native of Pennsylvania, but for many years had resided with Mr. and Mrs. Parks, and was beloved and esteemed by all who know her. Her death was very sudden ; she was about going to a donation party, when, without any premonitory warning, she ceased to live. Like a voice from heaven this afllictive dispensation admonishes, " Be ye also ready, for ye know not when the Son of Man cometh." It is a consolation to know that the deceased was ready for the summons. During a period of thirty years she had been a faithful and consistent member of the M. E. Church. Her simple faith in the Redeemer ; her earnest devotion to his cause; and her circumspect Christian profession, are well known to all who were favored with her acquaintance. She now rests from her labors. The sorrows of life have passed, and by the merit of our Redeemer, she has suddenly entered that better world.
