Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Apr 22, 1863, p. 3. DIED. In Maumee City, March 22, 1863, Daniel Cook, in the 78th year of his age. Mr. Cook was born at Kingston, Plymouth county, Mass., July 29, 1785. He was a graduate of Brown University; studied medicine in Boston, and was a surgeon in the army during the war of 1812. He professed religion in 1832, and joined the Baptist church of Waterville, Maine, where he was then residing. He moved to Maumee City in 1863, where he, with five others, raised the standard of the Cross, by the side of which he fell. He lived the life of the righteous, and his end was truly like his - trusting, joyful and triumphant.
