Daniels, the mother of Amon J. Daniels, died, being nearly ninety years of age. This noon he followed her to the grave, his death occurring in the same house near Haskins, as they had lived together for some years. He had not been feeling well for a long time. He was a prosperous farmer. For about twenty-five years he had been a widower but leaves three children to mourn his death. They are Vernie, a daughter who resided with him, and two sons, Roy, living near Haskins, and Edison, residing in Michigan. He was about sixty-two years of age and was born in New York state, being one of ten children, seven of whom survive him. They are: Mrs. V. R. Porter and Homer C., of this city; Herbert R., of Kansas; Jessie M., of Holland; Dwight L., of Neapolis, O.; Mrs. E. H. King, of Haskins; Duane W., of Tontogany. Mrs. W. H. Hoagland, of this place, is his cousin. Additional Comments: His mother was Martha J. Worth.
