Died.

In Perrysburg, Dec. 30, 1864, of Scarlet Fever, Edward Joseph, youngest son of 
George and Catherine Getz, aged 2 years and six months.

	Eddie, thou shalt sleep

Upon that pillow which no mother's hand

Hath softly spread for thee - o'er which, at night,

The sweet chant of her "lullaby" shall float

	Never amid they dreams.



	Eddie, 'twas well

With thee on earth, with thee 'tis better now,

walking beneath the cedars and the palms,

Among the white lambs of the flock of God.
