DIED.

	In Montgomery, on the 28th inst., Mrs. Teresa Holcomb, wife of Wilson 
Holcomb, Esq., aged 63 years and 6 months.

	Mrs. H. was born in New Jersey, and came to this place with her husband 
at an early day.  Possessing a cheerful and quiet disposition, she was pre-
eminently fitted to endure the hardships of a pioneer life.  She was a faithful 
wife, a fond mother, and a consistent christian.  The law of kindness was on 
her lips.  Her dear children, a wide circle of friends, and many who enjoyed 
the sweet and genial air of cheerfulness in her household, will long continue 
to cherish her memory.
