Aged Resident Dies. Perrysburg Journal.  Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. June 19, 1914.  Page 4.
	At the ripe age of 90 years, 6 months and 26 days one of Wood county's 
oldest citizens, Eliza Siegerist Holliger, passed away, Saturday, June 13, at 
6:30 p.m. at her home on Front ST., after an extended illness of about ten 
weeks.

	Mrs. Holliger was born in Canton Aro, Switzerland, November 17, 1823.  
She was married to John Holliger October 24, 1851 and with her husband sailed 
for America March 24, 1855.

	They located at once in Perrysburg where they have always lived as 
respected and honored citizens - Mr. Holliger having died 3 years ago.

	Mrs. Holliger was of a quiet, sweet disposition and lived an exemplary 
Christian life for fifty-seven years in this community.

	Her influence was always for good and will continue to live in the 
lives of her relatives and many friends.  She was converted in the Evangelical 
Church of Perrysburg in 1857 and has always been a loyal, self sacrificing, 
earnest supporter and worker in the cause of Christ, teaching the PRimary class 
in Sunday School for 40 years.

	She leaves one sister, Mrs. Rosetta Naegal of Toledo; two brothers and 
four sisters having preceeded her in death.  She also leaves two foster 
children - Mrs. R. Danz of Perrysburg and Mrs. J. McGinnes of Toledo - and a 
host of friends to mourn her decease.  

	The funeral was held at the Evangelical church, Tuesday, June 16, Rev. 
Vandersall officiating.  Interment in Ft. Meigs cemetery.
