DIED.

	On the 5th instant, in Freeport, Wood County, after a lingering illness 
of fourteen months, Dr. D.W. Hutchins, M.D., aged 53 years.

	The deceased had been engaged in the practice of medicine for over 
twenty years, three years of that time having been spent in Oregon, when that 
State was a territory.
