The Weekly Perrysburg Journal.  Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Apr 27, 1866, p. 3.
Died.

	In Portage, on Sunday morning, April 1, 1866, at the residence of her 
son, J.B. Abbott, Mrs. Clarissa Johnson, of Dropsy of the heart, in her 82d 
year, in hope of a blessed immortality.

	Our mother has gone to her rest,

	"In a pure and a peaceful abode;"

	We hope she is now with the blest,

	Forever, in the kingdom of God."



	She will no more suffer with pain,

	Nor sigh, over troubles now past;

	Her dust in the grave will remain,

	Till waked by the trumpet's loud blast.



	We mourn not as those without hope;

	We humbly submit to the rod;

	And pray for the grace that buoys up,

	Till called to the presence of God.



	We'll linger awhile here below,

	Till the time when our exit shall come,

	And patiently await to go

	To the mansion prepared as our home.
