The Weekly Perrysburg Journal.  Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Sep 7, 1864, p. 3.
DIED.

	At the residence of his Grandfather, John Campbell, Esq., in Gilead, 
Sept. 3, 1864, Willie, son of M. Edgar and Mary E. King, of McConnelsburg, 
Pennsylvaniy [sic], aged about 7 months.

	But a few shorts weeks ago, Willie, in company with his mother, came 
from his afar off home on a visit to his Grand-parents.  Soon he sickened and 
although all was done that love or care could dictate, daily he wasted away 
until death at length relieving him from the sorrows of earth he passed 
peacefully away to that better land beyond the skies.  Though deeply pained at 
his seemingly too early demise, we cannot but feel that

	"Tis better far in childhood's 

	Friendless years, ere sorrows come and cares of earth

	Enslave us, sweetly to fall asleep and

	Wake in heaven"
