Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Dec 6, 1867, p. 3. DIED. In Montgomery Township, Wood County, Ohio, November 20, Lieutenant Amos R. Legron, aged 28 years and 12 days. The deceased was a young man of noble character and lofty purpose, a true philanthropist and patriot, and a brave soldier. Amidst the great trials and temptations of army life he was constrained to seek refuge in the Redeemer, and from that time until his death exemplified in practice the religion of Jesus. His death has caused no common domestic sorrow, and a large circle of personal friends pay just tribute to his noble memory. - Fostoria News.
