The Perrysburg Journal.  Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Nov 10, 1859, p. 2.
DIED.

At his residence in Perrysburg, on the 3rd inst., of apoplexy, Thomas J. 
Purvis, aged 47 years, 3 mos., and 5 days.

	Mr. Purvis was born in Seneca Co., N.Y. in 1812, and emigrated to the 
southern part of Ohio in 1826, where he resided until 1835, when he removed to 
the Maumee.  He has therefore resided here twenty-four years.  He was 
industrious and upright in character and leaves a wife and seven children, 
together with a large circle of friends, to mourn his untimely loss.
