DIED.

	At Gilead, on Thursday, December 5, 1867, Seneca E. Sterling, aged 66 
years.

	Another pioneer of Maumee has gone. He was a resident of this Valley 
for thirty-six years.  His remains were taken to Waterville, Lucas County, on 
the Sunday following, and there buried by the members of Grand Rapids Lodge F. 
and A.M., of which he was a member, assisted by brethren from Wood County and 
Northern Light Lodges.  G.
