DIED.

	In Salem, Michigan, March 4, 1868, after a painful illness of eight 
weeks, Harriet C. wife of Rev. H.B. Taft, formerly of this place, aged 32 years.

	The deceased was born December 20, 1835, in Spencer, Lucas County, 
Ohio, united with the Baptist Church in April, 1852 at Maumee City, and on June 
30, 1854, was married to Rev. H.B. Taft.  She was a faithful and devoted 
Christian woman, and won the confidence and esteem of all who knew her.
