Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Mar 21, 1861, p. 3. DIED. Nearly Bowling Green, of Diptheria, Feb. 19th, Lafayette, aged seventeen months; Feb 23d, Montgomery, aged seven years; March 9th, Addie Jane, aged three years and give months; children of Harmon and Jane Thurston. Three little ones are gather'd Safe to their home above; Tho' sadness lingers round the hearth, Where all was peace and love. Three little forms are missing, Leaving three vacant chairs -- Three, side by side are sleeping, On yonder's hillside so bare. Three angels more are singing, Where they never say adieu; Back there lay of loves ringing -- "Parents dear we wait for you." Three little pilgrims less, Now walk lifes thorney road; Three more white rob'd angels, Sing "Praises to the Lord." Mourn not for the loved ones, Speed they heaven-word race, Lov'd ones parted, soon shall meet, Where tears are wip'd from ev'ry face.
