The Weekly Perrysburg Journal.  Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Feb 9, 1866, p. 3.
Died.

	On the 4th of November, 1865, at Ridgefield, Huron County, Ohio, David 
Webb, aged 88 years.

	Wood County Lodge, No 113, F. and A.M., Jan. 24, 1866.

	The Committee on the death of brother David Webb, report the following 
Preamble and Resolutions:

	Whereas, It has please Almighty God to remove from the earth our 
venerable and worthy brother, David Webb, at the advanced age of eighty-eight 
years; and

	Whereas, the Fraternity has thus lost a faithful member of sixty years' 
standing.  Therefore, be it

	Resolved, That we hereby tender to the descendants of the aged 
patriarch our sympathy, and bear public testimony to the upright, Christian and 
Masonic character of the deceased.

	Resolved, That having witnessed the kindlings of his eye, dim with age, 
as his tottering steps that bore him to the retreat sacred to Friendship and 
Brotherhood, and the joy with which in old age he renewed the vows of his 
youth, we are inspired with a renewed devotion to that mystic tie which can 
thus bind the heart, even when age paralyzes the faculties, and the steps 
totter upon the bring of the grave.

	Resolved, That copies of these resolutions be sent to the relatives of 
the deceased.

	Resolved, That these resolutions be published in the Perrysburg Journal.

	By order of the Wood County Lodge, No 112, Free and Accepted MAsons.
