Perrysburg Journal. Perrysburg, Wood County, Ohio. Sep. 4, 1897 Page 5. On Thursday evening, August 28, at 8 p.m. occurred the marriage of Miss Rose Holliger and Mr. J.C. MacInnis, at the home of the bride's father on Wabash avenue, Toledo, Ohio, conducted by Rev. John Brant of Valparaiso, Ind. The elegant parlors were beautifully decorated with ferns and palms, and the flowers were china astors. The bride presented a charming appearance in a superb costume of white mull, and carried bride's white roses, while the groom were the conventional suit of black. In former years Miss Holliger made her home in Perrysburg with her uncle, John Holliger and wife on Front street and has many friends here who wish her success and happiness in her married life. R. Danz and wife, George Kemp and wife, and John Holliger and wife of Perrysburg attended the ceremonies. The happy young couple will at once commence housekeeping in a home prepared for them on Missouri street in Toledo.
