Wood County History book
John S. Hatfield was born in Hamilton Co, OH Nov. 5,1820 and was the son of 
William S. Hatfield.  Married Caroline McMillan March 1840 in Hamilton Co, OH.
They had three children, Sarah Jane (Mrs Joseph French) of St. Joseph, MO, 
Lorenzo D, who died in Bloomdale, OH and Elizabeth, who died at hte age of 21 
years.  Caroline took ill and the family moved to Perry County, OH where 
Caroline died between 1847-1848

Additional Comments:
John married Joanna Bonnel and completed his family with 11 more children
