The remains were brought to this city, yesterday morning, nnd after a solemn mass, conducted by Rev. Father Braschler, the remains were interred in St. Peters graveyard. The deceased was a native of Baden, Germany, but with other relatives and friends emigrated to this country and located in this city in 1851 where she has ever since resided. She was born in the same town and emigrated in the same vessel as did our townsmen, Mr. Frank Keller. She was a step sister of the late John Gaa and in their lifetime the two were greatly attached to one anothor. About six weeks ago Mrs. Orians went to Marion to pay a visit to her son, but she had not been there long until she took sick, and although receiving the best attention, the disease termi- nated in death. She was a good, christain lady, greatly devoted to the church of her choice, and was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She leaves two sons and number of relatives to mourn her loss.
