The inscription reads: "Sarah, Wife of Jacob Black, Died July 28, 1863, Aged 63 Y, 2 M, 10 D." Additional Comments: Sarah was born May 18, 1800 in Frederick County, Maryland; her maiden name was Ocker. She was the daughter of Christian & Elisabeth Ocker. She had seven children with Jacob Sr., three of whom are buried nearby along with five other Blacks [wives of her children, her grandchildren, and their wives].
