Democrat-Journal page 12-Section A BURRIS, Carrie Graveside serivces for Carrie Burris were held 10:00am Friday, May 17, 2002 at the Westville City Cemetery with Rev. Audie Vaughan officiating, services were under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville. Carrie Elizabeth Burris was born May 11, 1922 in Summers, AR to Millard and Dora (Shepard) Kirk. She departed this life May 14, 2002 at her home in Westville, OK at the age of 80 years and three days. She was a grocery store owner and member of the Eastern Star. Carrie was a member of the Westville Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son Kirk Jordan; Three brothers, James, John and Elmer Kirk and one sister Ruth Scraper. Carrie is survived by one daughter Carol Koehler of Westville; two sons, Gary Jordan of Linn Creek, MO and Alan Anderson of Salt Lake City, UT; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Three sisters Iola Bay of MO; Minnie Bay of Owasso and Edith Bian of Westville; one brother, Paul Kirk of Westville; one daughter-9n-law Janice Jordan also of Westville; a host of friends and loved ones.
