Jerry Nofire and Rev. Martin Cochran officiating. Interment followed at the Oak Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell. Fannie Mae (Stepp) Glass was born April 22, 1917 in Adair County to Chulio Stepp and Margaret Humanstriker Stepp. She departed this life on January 22, 2002 at her home in Stilwell at the age of 84 years and 9 months. She was married to Lynch Glass on October 6, 1936. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church where she served as secretary and treasurer for many years. She also served as secretary at the Salem Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. She also loved to sew, make quilts and can food. She was preceded in death by her husband Lynch; her parents, Chulio and Margaret Stepp; one brother; two sisters and five infant children. Fannie is survived by four daughters Corena Roastingear of Sallisaw, Mary Sevenstar, Shirley Sevenstar and husband Edmond and Mary Soap and husband Johnson all of Stilwell; one son, Lynch Glass, Jr. and wife Arlene of Farmington, New Mexico; one step-son, Joe Tom Glass of Stilwell; one brother, Williams Stepp of Elk City, Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.
