Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerald, pastor of San Jacinto United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Harris had lived his entire life in Amarillo. He had last worked as a dietary aide at Heritage Nursing Home. Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Salas and Amanda Harris, both of Amarillo; a son, Timmy Joe Harris of Arkansas; his mother, Doris Fay Miller of Amarillo; four sisters, Linda Covey and Freda Hogue, both of Amarillo, Wanda Broughton of Tampa, Fla., and Kathy Beach of Westville, Okla.; two brothers, Robert Harris and Joe Harris, both of Alabama; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176-0001; or Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic, 6700 W. Ninth Ave., at Quail Creek Drive, Amarillo, TX 79106.
