Democrat-Journal page 12-Section A KETCHER, Frances Earlene Frances Earlene (Thurman) Ketcher was born September 11, 1929 in Wynne, AR, and departed this life to be with her Lord on April 16, 2002 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 5 days. Frances worked at Simmons Inc. where she retired after 29 years. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and friends. She got the most enjoyment from going shopping with her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, William Albert Ketcher, her parents, Nora Elvira (Hodges) and Artie Thurman, 2 brothers, Buck Thurman and Artie R. Thurman, one daughter Brenda Joyce Simone Miller. She is survived by three sons, William Ketcher of West Siloam Springs, OK; David Ketcher and wife Cindy of Christie, OK; Jimmy Ray Ketcher of Watts, OK; two daughters, Bobbie Ann Pack and husband Billy Joe of Baron, OK and Joy Swepston and husband Larry of Stilwell, OK; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Three sisters, Lucille Hale and Joy Sue Dearing of Wynne, AR and Ruth Ann King of Pocahontas, AR; two brothers, Dale Thurman and Bobby Thurman both of Wynne, AR; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Graveside services were held Saturday, May 18, 2002 at 10:00am in the Old Baptist Mission Cemetery with Bro. Aaron Barton officiating under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
