She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties that followed her role as wife mother and grandmother. She was married to Bow Waterdown and to this union 10 children were born. Melvin, Burl, Woodrow, Robert, Ollie Mae, Thomas, Houston, Jack, Louise and Mary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bow Waterdown, 4 sons, Melvin, Burl, Woodrow, and Robert Waterdown, 1 daughter, Ollie Mae Waterdown, 1 brother, Thomas Martin McLemore, 2 sisters, Louise McLemore and Gertrude McLemore and 1 grandson, Jimmie Miller. She is survived by 3 sons, Houston Waterdown and wife Jeri of Tahlequah, OK, Jack Waterdown and companion Carole Edwards of Stilwell, OK and Thomas Waterdown and wife Deana of Stilwell, OK; 2 daughters, Louise Foster and husband Ellis and Mary Waterdown both of Stilwell, OK, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at 10:00 am at Sequoyah Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Bunch officiating. Interment was in the Clear Springs Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
