It is 2 miles south and 1 mile east of Jet, Oklahoma. The Milan Valley Mennonite Church established this cemetery. It was located just south of the church and near the Milan post office in Oklahoma Territory. The first church services were held in the J. C. Bontrager home. The first church was a frame building 16' x 28' built on the Bontrager farm for $175. The membership grew to about 40-60 people in the 1920's. The church was moved 1/2 mile north on the N. E. Miller land in 1904. A new church 36' x 46' with a full basement was built at a cost of $1600 in 1910. This building was dismantled in 1940 and used to help build the Mennonite Mission in Hutchinson, Kansas. This information is taken from the records kept by S. C. and Jennie Fischer of Jet.
