Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church with Dick Brooks, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Darrouzett Cemetery in Darrouzett by Horizon Funeral Home. Mrs. Altmiller was born in Helena, Okla., to Chet and Letha Henness Roberts and graduated from Lavern High School in 1945. She married Alfred Altmiller on Jan. 4, 1948. Their early years of marriage was spent farming, where Beth worked faithfully alongside her husband, even driving loaded grain trucks during harvest. Beth also worked as a secretary for Booker High School in Booker. The couple had made their home in Dalhart for the last 40 years. She was a full partner with her husband in multiple businesses, serving as the accounting officer until their retirement. She was a volunteer pink lady for Coon Memorial Home, and a deacon and session member of First Presbyterian Church, active in all church projects. Her family will remember her as a devoted mother and loving wife. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Kenda Josselet of Perryton and Tricia Twombly and husband, Teddy, of Denton; and four grandchildren, Chris and Kari Josselet and Jacob and Caleb Twombly. The family suggests memorials be to Presbyterian Children's Home in Amarillo or First Presbyterian Church of Dalhart.
