Brawley, 78, of Hamilton, MT, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 at St. John's Lutheran Hospital in Libby. He was born April 7, 1924 in Beggs, Oklahoma. Glyn served in the pacific with the Army during W.W.II for three years. He married Freda Jo Carter on June 3, 1950 in Goltry, Oklahoma. He taught and coached all sports but mainly girls basketball where he was inducted into the Oklahoma Coach's Hall of Fame in May of 1981. He retired and moved to Montana in 1984 where he remained an active supporter of all sports, especially Corvallis, where he followed all his grandchildren's sports activities. He was preceded in death by his parents and a special granddaughter. Glyn is survived by his wife Freda of the family home in Hamilton; a son Steve and wife Alta of Corvallis; daughters Nancy and husband Adrian Mosqueda of Corvallis and Anita of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 sisters, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 at the Daly- Leach Chapel in Hamilton with interment following at Corvallis Cemetery.
