To this union was born eleven children, one dying in infancy. She leaves a husband, four sons and six daughters, also an aged mother, one sister, three brothers and a host of friends to mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and faithful friend. She was a life long member of the Friends church, being a faithful and devoted member until the time of her death. Just a few minutes before her death she repeated the verse of scripture found in John 14.2 'In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you,' and said, 'He may not be quite ready for me yet, but the end may be sooner than we think,' and then began to sing, 'Oh Happy Day that fixed my Choice on Thee my Saviour and my God' and when asked if it was a happy day she smiled and said yes and passed away. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Leacault at the Friends church at 3:00 p.m., June 11th, 1907. Interment in Woodman Cemetery. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Alfalfa County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/alfalfa/alfalfa.html
