Alva Review Courier 24 Mar 2004 Norma June Johnson, 72, Amorita Funeral services for Norma June Johnson, 72, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004, at the Amorita Community Church with Phil Harris officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of the Goodwin Funeral Home of Cherokee. Visitation at the funeral home will be today from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. She was born March 3, 1932 near Horace, Kan., to Carl and Minnie Angle Hill, and passed away Sunday, March 21, 2004 after a battle with cancer. Surviving are her husband, Bob, of the home; three brothers: Bennie Hill of Blackwell, Doyle Hill of Rochester, N.Y., and Rodger Hill of Burlington; and two sisters: Patricia McLaughlin of Springdale, Ark., and Dorthy Reed of Davidson. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Loyd Hill.
