All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Pleasant View Cemetery--Jet OK Alva Review Courier 29 Dec 2005 Vinnie Lambert, 93, Jet Funeral service for Vinnie Lambert, 93, will be at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at the Church of the Nazarene in Jet, with Pastor Dean Holt and Pastor Kenneth Burnham officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery, north of Jet, with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Cherokee. Online condolences may be made at www.lanmanfuneralhomes.com. The casket will be open before the service at the church. Vinnie was born on a farm east of Jet on August 14, 1912, the daughter of Melvin and Louise Campbell Williamson. She was raised in the Jet area and graduated from Jet High School. She married Jim Lambert June 10, 1934 and after 47 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on April 23, 1982. She went home to her Lord and Savior December 26, 2005 while living in Alva, after a long, courageous and inspiring life. Vinnie is survived by her daughter, Jimmie Ruth Diskin and husband, Ken of Cheney, Kansas; son, Steve Lambert and wife, Edna Mae of Jet; seven grandchildren and spouses, Terri Schauf and Steve; Todd Summers and Lisa; Reese Lambert and Julie; Stephen Lambert and Heather; Stan Diskin and Nancy; Mark Diskin; Debbie and John Hillman; thirteen great-grandchildren, Jolene and Janelle Schultz; Blake and Blair Summers; Hunter and Hudson Lambert; Cal and Sydney Lambert; Jordan, Logan, and Kaden Diskin; Nic and Shelby Hillman; her twin sister, Linnie VanOsdol and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Vinnie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
