All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Maddox, Thelma Margaret Thelma Margaret, 95, passed away Aug. 13, 2002. She was born Nov. 25, 1906 to Robert L. and Cordelia Easterling in Oklahoma Territory southwest of Aline, OK on the Easterling homestead. She graduated from Central College in McPherson, KS in 1926. After moving to Enid she worked many years at Villa Madonna Care Center in geriatrics and at Enid General Hospital in pediatrics. When Thelma married Everett Taylor in 1958 she gained a daughter, Loretta Franz. Everett passed away in 1978. Years later Thelma married Tim L. Maddox. This marriage gave Thelma three more children: Lawrence Maddox, Donella Lamm and Linda Cardwell. Tim passed away on on Feb. 28, 2001. Thelma was also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters: Oma Edwards, Chester Easterling, Sidney Easterling, Ralph Easterling, Eunice Hepker, Verlin Easterling, Lois Evangeline Easterling, and by her great grandson, Keith. Thelma was a member of the Free Methodist Church and the Women's Missionary Society all her life. Left to cherish her memory are her sister-in law, Bonnie Easterling, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of loving friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2002 in the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery at Enid, OK.
