Lillie was born in Carmen, Oklahoma on July 20, 1917 and passed from this life to eternity on Dec. 21, 2006. Lillie married Nathan Bruce Pack in 1935. They spent 51 beautiful years together before Bruce was called home in 1986. Lillie lived in Bakersfield since 1950. She worked seasonally for an agricultural contractor, as a labeler until mid 70's. Though she had no biological children of her own, she had numerous nieces and nephews that considered her a second mom and numerous grand nieces and grand nephews that considered her a grandma. Lillie loved life. She and Bruce traveled and explored many states by R.V. camping. She was very kind hearted and treated everyone equally and fairly. She saw good in everyone. If Lillie could help a person she was always willing. She was a wonderful cook and liked to grow beautiful flowers and tend to her lush green yard. Lillie had a smile like sunshine. Lillie loved Jesus and was ready to go home and meet Him face to face. "So let your hearts rejoice, and let your spirit sing. Lillie is spending Christmas in the presence of the King!" She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bruce, her mother Myrtle Meeks, her father Allen Meeks, two brothers Jesse and Bill Meeks and one sister Pearlie Walts. She is survived by one sister Flossie Pack of Bakersfield, and two bothers Lloyd and Ray Meeks of Oklahoma, and numerous nephews and nieces and friends who will deeply miss her, but know we will see her again one day.
