All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Municipal Cemetery--Cherokee OK Alva Review Courier 07 Oct 2004 Nimer Michael Razook, 94, Cherokee Funeral services for Nimer Michael Razook, 94, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2004 at the First Christian Church in Cherokee with Dr. Ron Hansen officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Municipal Cemetery under the direction of the Goodwin Funeral Home of Cherokee. Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until noon. The casket will remain closed at the church. Nimer Michael Razook was born in Cowley County, Kansas on Jan. 17, 1910. He was the oldest of 11 brothers and sisters raised by loving parents, Farris and Sadie Razook. Nim is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Barbara Razook, of Oklahoma City, his daughter Judy, also of Oklahoma City, and his son and daughter-in-law, Nim Jr. and Suzanne Razook of Norman. He is also survived by six grandchildren: John Razook, Julie Anderson and her husband Paul, Joel Razook, April Caywood, Josh Caywood and wife Rachel and Alex Razook; and six great grandchildren: Jeremy, Grayson, Sarah and Karsten Razook and William and Caroline Anderson. Other survivors include brothers Ted and Farris of Wichita, Kan., sisters Sue and Vivian also of Wichita, and sister Margorie of Waynoka. Nim was predeceased by brothers Zikey George and Fred of Wichita, sisters Blanche and Mabel, also of Wichita, and a sister, Louise of Enid.
