All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Good Hope Cemetery--Helena OK Alva Review Courier 20 Jun 2004 Bessie Ruth Schallner, 69, Helena Bessie Ruth Schallner, 69, the daughter of Frank and Helen Pieler Powell, was born on Aug. 12, 1934, in Hugoton, Kan., and departed this life on June 19, 2004, at Great Plains Care Center in Helena. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jim of Helena; three sons, James Frank Schallner, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Tulsa, Jackie Wayne Schallner and wife, Jane of Fairview, Jay Marty Schallner and wife, Sherry of Edmond; four daughters, Jamie Sue Henderson and husband, Jim of Alva, Judy Ann Neilson and husband, Wayne of Alva, Janette Leigh Folger and husband, Fred of Helena, Joyce Lynn Nash and husband, Rusty of Ringwood; three brothers, John Powell and wife, Verna of Helena, Fred Powell and wife, Brenda of Helena, Paul Powell of Helena and one sister, Juanita Coulter Ashworth and husband, Fred of Ponca City; fourteen grandchildren, James Bryan Schallner, Jana Leigh Schallner, Jeffrey Neal Henderson, JoLisa Maree Henderson, Jeremy Wayne Schallner, Janis Marie Schallner, Kendra Michelle Neilson, Eric Evan Neilson, Alexanne Elizabeth Schallner, Thomas Jay Jeff 'T.J.' Schallner, Brandon Lane Folger, Baleigh Breanne Folger, Rustin Rea Nash, Reachelle Lynn Nash. Bessie was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be June 22 at 2 p.m. at Timberlake High School Auditorium in Helena with Rev. Dean Holt officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Helena.
