Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. W. Winfred Moore, distinguished professor of religion at Baylor University, officiating. Graveside services will be under the auspices of ISOM Masonic Lodge No. 1242 in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Immel was born in Indian Territory. He had been a resident of Borger for 70 years, moving from Oklahoma. He owned a house-moving business. He married Doneta Davis in 1926 at Oklahoma. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the ISOM Masonic Lodge No. 1242. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dora Thompson, in 1996. Survivors include his wife; a son, David Immel of Borger; two daughters, Pearl Adams of Borger and Nora Osborne of Houston; two sisters, Vera Lamon of Atoka, Okla., and Mattie Stottlemyre of Fritch; 11 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Lodge members are to report to the lodge one hour before service time.
