Pastor Steve Shaw of Pleasant Valley Vineyard Church will officiate. Mrs. Cole, 94, of Grants Pass, died Friday (July 12, 2002) at her home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lovejoy Hospice, 939 S.E. Eighth St., Grants Pass, OR 97527. She was born Sept. 13, 1907, in Atoka County, Okla. On April 12, 1927, in Oklahoma, she married Andy Cole, who died in 1994. Mrs. Cole moved to Grants Pass with her husband in 1970, after living from 1952 to 1959 in Cloverdale, Calif., and then in Gualala, Calif. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Vineyard Church, where she helped with the women’s missionary work and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed helping and teaching children. Survivors include two sons, Harold Cole, Napa, Calif., and Gordon Cole, Elysian Fields, Texas; three daughters, Edna Fern Armstrong, Upper Lake, Calif., Ann Harper, Lower Lake, Calif., and Marsha Saiz, Klamath Falls; two sisters, Billie Boatman, Grants Pass, and Lenora Fitzgerald, Minnford, Okla.; 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters, Wandaleen Cole, Betty Jo Reather, and Kathleen Bennight; and a son, Stanley Cole. Arrangements: Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home, Grants Pass.
