All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm -------------------------------------------------------------- JANUARY 3, 2003 Opal Edith (Fronterhouse) Stinson Opal Edith Stinson, 89, of Altus, died at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ in Mangum. Eddie Beard will officiate. Interment will be at the Rose Lawn Cemetery in Mangum. Arrangements are with Greer Funeral Home in Mangum. She was born in Atoka to Charlie Fronterhouse and Alice Lovett Fronterhouse on Jan. 19, 1913. In June of 1932, she married Bailey Stinson. To this union four children were born, Delta Gaye Stinson, Bailey Claston Stinson, Delphine Graham and Joe Stinson. She was preceded in death by two of her children, Delphine and Joe. She is survived by children Delta Gaye Stinson of Altus, Bailey Claston Stinson, of Gilmer, Texas; brothers and sisters Ruby Fitzjurle of Arkansas, Arvil Williams of Willow, Alean Brown of Texas, Hagon Fronterhouse of Arkansas, and Lorene Shelton of Sayre; grandchildren Tony Graham, Nikki Graham, Steven Graham, Chris Graham, Gregory Graham, Shelee Swartzendruber, Jana Weigel, Shauna Singleton, Shawn Stinson and Chad Stinson; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, grandson Tim Graham; and brothers Himon Fronterhouse, Junior Fronterhouse and Tootsie Fronterhouse. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ŠAltus Times 2003
