Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fairview Methodist Church in Slapout with the Rev. Wes Peterman officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery by Clark-Wilkinson Funeral Service in Laverne. Mr. Shepard was born April 18, 1918, in Beaver County. He was a farmer and rancher all of his life. Survivors include a son, Butch Shepard of Follett, Texas; three daughters, Vi Thomas and Cindy Charbonneau, both of Woodward, and Becky Christensen of Thomas; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
