Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Guymon with the Rev. Greg Keith, pastor of Panhandle Cemetery United Methodist Church in Goodwell, officiating. Burial will be in Goodwell Cemetery. Mr. Longshore moved to Goodwell from Canistota, S.D., in 1960. He was engaged in custom harvesting until his retirement in 1981. Survivors include his wife, Alice; a son, W.P. Longshore of Balko, Okla.; two daughters, Karen Case of Groom, Texas, and Carol Altom of Goodwell; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Susan Gibbs of Strawberry Point, Iowa. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity and may be left at the funeral home. Amarillo Globe-News, May 16, 2002
